H2O in the Kitchen- Ben's Dip


Who doesn't love a good party dip!? The Super Bowl may be over, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy this delicious dip. It's a huge hit at our office and we can't wait for you all to try it!


Ingredients:

2 - 16oz packages Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage (1 hot and 1 regular, or just one or the other for more or less heat!)

1 – Large onion (diced)

2 – 10oz cans of Original Rotel (or mild/hot depending on your preferred heat)

2 – 8oz packages of cream cheese



Stovetop

-Cook and drain the fat from the sausage, put back in the pan

-Add in diced onions and Rotel, cooking on medium heat until onions are softened.

-Add cream cheese and keep stirring while on heat

-Once combined turn burner to low & serve


Crockpot

-Put cooked & drained sausage in crockpot

-Add onions, Rotel, and then cream cheese. I recommend adding the cream cheese in smaller sections for easier melting.

-Set crockpot to low and stir about every 30 minutes until all combined.

-After combined, turn crockpot to warm.


Jennie recommends serving with scoop chips over a regular tortilla chip as this dip is pretty hardy!
